Dr. David Jenson founded Jenson Foot and Ankle Specialists in 2004 to create a resource for patients searching for the most advanced diagnostic and treatment services in the region. He and his medical staff offer solutions for foot and ankle care ranging from diabetic foot care to hammertoe correction.

Education has always played a crucial role in Dr. Jenson’s life. He began his studies at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He went on to earn his medical degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, and he has continued to train in the most advanced technology and podiatry treatments.

Dr. Jenson refined his skills and training through an internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. From there, he pursued additional education opportunities in New York City, focusing on gait analysis, pediatric orthopedics, biomechanics, and surgery. A surgical residency in Houston, Texas, and then continued his career with a fellowship training in lower extremity peripheral nerve surgery.

One of the things that sets Dr. Jenson apart is his skill in decompression nerve surgery. Also, he’s proud to be among some of a few specialists to offer Subchondroplasty®, an innovative procedure used to treat fractures without the need for invasive surgery.
